New York City’s “Façade Inspection Safety Program” (FISP), previously known as Local Law 11, requires that Owners of buildings with more than six (6) stories above any grade have their exterior walls and appurtenances inspected periodically, in 5-year cycles.
Local Law 126 (PIPS) has been in effect since been in effect since Janurary 2021. This law refers to parking structures and addresses the requirements to regularly inspect and repair, as required and defined by the NYC Building Code.
