STONE replaced the entirety of the existing Penthouse roof with a new Kemper system and replaced the existing decking with new IPE deck tiles. Furthermore, STONE also rehabilitated the existing stucco for a refreshed look.
STONE scoped the replacement of the existing bulkhead skylights as well as the repair to any existing damage observed at all bulkheads.
STONE also focused on the replacement of improper functioning doors at the storage bulkhead to provide easier access for the residents to use.
STONE also focused their attention to the existing coping covers, which upon close up inspection; were aging, and required replacement. STONE surveyed the various sections of aluminum coping areas for replacement to be a perfect fit.
STONE installed red roof pavers at the locations where public access is prohibited and to differientate between private service access and priavte residence space.
STONE scoped the replacement of the existing safety railing to ensure that safety of the occupants of the roof is not compromised.
Taking account the safety of the residents, STONE ensured that the existing was replaced with a new side-mounted railing that complies with all of the most recent NYC Dept. of Buildings code, achieving 4" min. spacing between rails and achieving more than a 42" min. height from the finished floor.
STONE also replaced the existing, cracked and weathered coping stone to match existing per Landmarks Mandates.
