STONE replaced the existing roof system with a new gravel system that gives the open terrace a natrual look with the restored decorative stone retating walls.
At the entrances of the 6th floor terrace, STONE scoped the insstallation of concrete pavers to contrast the adjacent gravel as well as create a solid base for amenities to be provided to the residents. New dividing walls were also installed to allow for privacy without obstructing the views.
Withe the existing skylight was incapacitated due to protective tarp overlayed on top, the expansive gym below lacked the necessary natural light it deserved. Especially with the gym located at the top of the building with no obstructions around. STONE utililzed that space and a proposed design that replaced the existing skylight with new and gave the space below a new visual aesthethic above and the sunlight the gym deserves.
STONE also considered the insterior of the gym space below, refurinshing the opening of the skylight to accomodate the new skylight that was taller, accepting more light while not compromising interior termperatures throughout the year.
