STONE found the existing roof system to be in decrepit condition and required rehabilitation at its entirety. STONE replaced the roof with a new system to protect the deck and building below.
During roof replacement, STONE also scoped the replacement of the existing flashing with a new copper thru-wall counterflashing.
Upon repairing of the existing roof system, STONE also scoped the replacement of a new pre-cast concrete coping stone atop the parapet as well as assocated masonry and pointing repairs where required.
Since the roof was partially split between public and private, STONE had to figure out a method to integrate two different roofing systems to work together and create a weather tight seal. Upon completion, both roofs had a seamless transition and finish for the residents to enjoy.
