STONE scoped the replacement of all skylights with new to ensure adequate lighting for the residents.
Atop the new roof system, STONE scoped the installation of a new pavers system. The system would change level when required for specific accomodations due to height at door entrances.
STONE found an existing wall on the roof to be in disrepair. Our team scoped the replaement of the existing area in disrepair, then coated the wall a fresh white to contrast against the adjacent dark divider.
Taking account the safety of the residents, STONE ensured that the existing railing complied with all of the most recent NYC Dept. of Buildings code, achieving 4" min. spacing between rails and achieving a 42" min. height from the finished floor.
STONE also focused their attention to the existing coping covers, which upon close up inspection; were aging, and required replacement. STONE surveyed the various sections of aluminum coping areas for replacement to be a perfect fit.
STONE also scoped the replacement of the existing resident privacy divider with new based on client instruction. The new divider gave height and proper privacy to the unit owner.
To ensure worker safety, STONE scoped the isntallation of a top mount railing for the perimeter of the bulkhead for future falll protection.
STONE found the existing pipe straps to be in deteriorated condition and requiring replacement. STONE ensured that the new straps as well as adjacent pipe were painted to withstand future weathering to come.
