STONE replaced all damaged decorative stone headers at all of the facades of the building to give the building back its shine
STONE carefully replaced all damaged masonry at the building while retaining any patterns, configurations, and existing aesthetic as closely as possible.
STONE discovered the existing building window sills were in dire need of replacement and rehabilitation. STONe ensured that the new sills matched the existing historical fabric to retain the building beauty.
STONE replicated the existing masonry pointing as the existing was found to be decrepit condition and required replacement. STONE scoped the replacement of masonry pointing and worked closely with Landmarks Commission to ensure all replacement matched historical condition.
STONE also took extensive measures in ensuring the rehabilitation of the existing building cornice. STONE scoped cornice repairs and a new coat of paint to match the orginal corince color upon erection of the building.
STONE also ensured that the safety of the existing building fire escape was maintained. STONE scoped the installation of additional fire escape reinforcement as well as providing fire escape railing, platform, and reanchoring repairs with a new coat of paint.
