The existing lintel at the terrace door entrances was replaced for the installation of the new terrace doors.

STONE scoped the replacement of the existing fire escape terrace doors with new ones. The new doors allowed for additional heat retention within the apartments.

Upon replacement of the new terrace fire escape doors, STONE also scoped the replacement of the locks and locking mechanisms for the doors to ensure privacy for the residents. 

In addition to the terrace doors, new transoms for the doors were also installed to make up for the remaining height of the rough opening, as well as to allow for more sunlight to penetrate the apartment.
