The building was found to be in serious disrepair at the existing facade stucco. STONE did our due diligence in restoring the existing building to have aplumb and clean appeal.
STONE continued the facade replacement to the windows as well, paying close attention to the decorative stone headers and replaced in kind to match original beauty.
STONE also focused our attention to the roof, making sure to replace all existing decorative stone joints with new and color matching to the decorative stone.
STONE also attended to the repairs required at the parapet of the building, repointing the parapet at locations where decrepit pointing conditions were found. STONE then installed new coping covers to match the color the the adjacent decorative stone adorning the roof.
STONE found the existing decorative stones atop the roof to be weathered and required immediate attention. STONE replaced the decorative stones in kind to match existing condtions.
Apart from all the repairs at the parapet, STONE also replaced the existing coping covers at existing coping stones at the roof of the building, all matching the tones of the existing dcorative stones.
The decorativie elements allowed for 1 Elm Street to stand out. The existing clay shingles as gorgeous as they were required replacement due to cracking or missing pieces. Upon replacement the shingled roofs became vibrant with the different shades of clay.
Areas at the roof apart from the decorative stones and parapet required repairs. STONE scoped the repairs of the existing corners of exposed penetrations to be reflashed to protect against possible water penetration.
